We are looking for a motivated individual to join Your Next Step as a Client Relationship Manager | Mortgage Broker Development Role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career within mortgages and insurance, learning directly from experienced advisers while supporting a growing and ambitious business.

No previous mortgage experience is required. We provide full training and support, helping you develop towards becoming a highly successful mortgage broker if that is the path you choose.

The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both from home and from our office at Strathmore House, East Kilbride, with full equipment provided for both environments.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly and confident when speaking with clients

  • Hungry to build a career in financial services

  • Organised and reliable

  • Motivated to learn and develop

  • Comfortable working in a small, hard-working, client-focused team

  • Socially confident and enjoys meeting people

  • Comfortable using basic technology such as email and office software

Mortgage experience is not required — attitude and willingness to learn matter far more.

What you’ll be doing

  • Welcoming new and existing clients, creating a warm first impression and arranging appointments with our advisers

  • Supporting new mortgage and insurance applications

  • Providing reassurance and clear updates so clients feel supported at every stage of their application

  • Helping manage and progress cases within our pipeline

  • Supporting marketing and social media activity

  • Assisting with improving internal processes as the business grows

  • Start your journey towards becoming a qualified mortgage broker when both you and the business feel ready, with full support and guidance from our team

Salary, flexibility and benefits

We offer flexibility and a supportive working environment, including:

  • £23,000–£25,000 starting salary (full-time equivalent)

  • Monday - Friday working

  • Part-time hours considered, salary paid on a pro-rata basis

  • Hybrid working between home and our East Kilbride office

  • 29 days holiday plus your birthday off each year (pro-rata basis)
